Many locals already know that Anne isn't just the "pizza lady" but also an incredibly talented artist! Anne crafts beautiful sculptures out of drift wood she collects from our local beaches. You can see her work at Grand Isle Art Works or if you run into her in town, ask for a tour of her studio at her farm.
Before taking over Pan's, Justine was working full time in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She still teaches Yoga at Hot Yoga Burlington and UVM Campus Rec. She is also a Dragon Boat coach and paddler for Dragonheart Vermont. You can also find her on the pickleball court and walking in the woods with her and Sani's labradoodle, Ruby.
Alex is headed back to school this summer (August 2023) to pursue The Sustainable Innovation MBA at the University of Vermont. Alex is as outdoorsy as they come, you can find him mountain biking, swimming (even in January,) skiing, hiking, and hanging with his adorable pup, Magua.
Sani has been in the restaurant biz for over 20 years. Coming to the US as a result of the war in former Yugoslavia, and not knowing a lick of English, he started delivering pizzas for Pizza Hut. Soon he had is own food cart, then a restaurant and an online restaurant equipment store. In addition to Pan's, Sani owns and operates The Beach House at North Beach in Burlington, and his online store. His oldest son, Sandi, has followed in his foot-steps and owns his own food truck, Church Street Cheese Steaks. His youngest son, Djani, starts his freshmen year at UVM fall of 2023. When Sani's not working he's playing pickleball! Be warned, if you mention pickleball to him, settle in for a long conversation.
